Lala Vinzon, the first runner-up on The Voice Teens season one, is now a Kapuso.
On September 5, 2021, she was one of the new artists who signed with GMA Artist Center during the program Signed for Stardom, which aired on All-Out Sundays.
Lala shared photographs of herself signing the deal on Instagram.
She also did not mention ABS-CBN in her caption, but she did say that she is a fan of the network and that she is “thankful of where I came from.”
She wrote (published as is): “Proud to be Kapuso. But will always be thankful of where I came from. Thank you @isabelamazingofc for supporting me all through out my journey in show business. I can’t wait for this new chapter”
Lala began her singing career in 2017 as a member of Team Bamboo on The Voice Teens season one. She came in second place in the competition.
She was later cast alongside Moira dela Torre, Inigo Pascual, Zia Quizon, Migz Haleco, Kaye Cal, and JM de Guzman in ASAP’s “Jambayan” segment.
She also joined Darren Espanto, Jayda Avanzado, Ylona Garcia, Kyle Echarri, and fellow The Voice Teens finalist Jeremy Glinoga in ASAP’s “G Squad” segment.
Lala’s portions were dissolved when ASAP was renamed ASAP Natin’To in 2018, however she continued to appear as a guest on the show.
Lala has yet to be announced by the GMA Artist Center, although she has previously been on All-Out Sundays as part of the “FYP” segment.
Since 2014, Lala’s father, veteran actor Roi Vinzon, has been represented by GMA Artist Center.
