Kim Chiu’s “Bawal Lumabas” might set another record as she received a tremendous amount of dislike in just 12 hours after Youtube channel Wish 107.5 featured her viral hit.
Despite the warning from some netizens, the radio station still uploaded the performance of Kim Chiu and now it received negative reactions from the netizens who followed the Youtube channel to listen to their idol OPM artists.
“Ang daming magagaling na artist sa larangan ng musika na hindi nabibigyan ng pagkakataon maipakita yung talento na meron sila dahil sa mga ganito,” netizen Che Corona said.\
“And she’s so proud of her song! Wake up Kim! You are the current laughing stock of this country! That Wish Bus seat is deserved by someone who can produce and sing a useful song nowadays,” netizen Rodnie Gonzales remarked.
Wish 107.5 Youtube channel said that Chiu’s song was a testament that a “seemingly unfortunate experience in life can be turned into something positive”
As of writing, the video of Chiu already received 1.4-M views, 354,000 dislikes, and 53,000 dislikes.
Chiu quickly defeated the “Iisang Dagat” music video by the Chinese Embassy of the Philippines that received 217,000 dislikes as of writing.
She also surpassed the 337,000 dislikes got by Raffy Tulfo’s Youtube video about a mother who complained about the teacher of her son.
Despite the criticisms received by Chiu’s song, the actress still continues to promote ‘Bawal Lumabas’ and launched merchandise based on her song to help charities.
A few days ago, Chiu also faced controversy and was invited by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) after she was accused of dancing her song in the middle of the traffic.
Chiu’s song was based to her popular ‘law of classroom’ statement which she made when she’s trying to defend her home network ABS CBN from the critics.
She then apologized for her remark, saying that she also didn’t understand what she said.
